Job description

As part of the multi-disciplinary team, the Primary Care Physician (PCP) will provide primary medical diagnostic and therapeutic care and service, referring consultations for specialty care, and education and preventive care advice to all patients served. The PCP performance will be tracked and comparatively reported using metrics related to the strategic direction and operational needs of the organization.

We are looking for attentive, conscientious, and experienced Primary Care Physicians. PCPs are expected to treat a wide range of medical conditions, develop long-term, personal relationships with their patients, produce individualized healthcare programs based on patient historical data, and offer continuous support and health management advice. You should be proactive in building relationships and recommend external specialists when patients require treatment outside of your medical purview. PCPs should take a vested interest in a patient's well-being. This is achieved by demonstrating good listening skills, showing empathy and understanding, and communicating clearly and effectively.

Join Southeast Medical Group, where exceptional physicians meet extraordinary opportunities. Experience the financial and personal growth you deserve with a robust compensation package that includes a base salary complemented by a lucrative bonus plan. Our comprehensive benefits package is designed to support your professional and personal needs:

  • Significant Earning Potential: Enjoy a competitive base salary paired with an uncapped and fully-supported monthly bonus program, ensuring your hard work is directly rewarded.
  • Work-Life Balance: Take advantage of 4 weeks of paid time off, plus an additional week off for continuing medical education (CME) with a $2,000 stipend.
  • Professional Growth Support: Receive a $1,500 yearly stipend for licensure and professional affiliations to keep you at the forefront of your field.
  • Comprehensive Health Benefits: Enjoy premium medical, dental, and vision coverage. Our Healthcare Savings Account (HSA) includes a high deductible health plan (HDHP) with a generous company contribution.
  • Retirement and Planning: Secure your future with a 401k retirement savings plan and a deferred compensation plan, both with company matching.
  • Insurance and Security: Our comprehensive insurance plans cover malpractice, life, short-term, and long-term needs, all paid by the company.
  • Sustainable Practice: Engage in limited on-call duties, restricted to phone calls only, allowing you more time to focus on what matters most.
