Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care, Nassau County (Plainview area), seeks progressive Full-Time Physicians with adult and pediatric experience to join our welcoming and diverse community of Northwell providers.

You will work in an integrated system with Northwell Health, performing urgent care tasks with imaging and labs, while enjoying a $15,000 sign-on bonus and hourly pay between $135 and $160, plus mentoring and opportunities to rotate across locations.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care.
• Minimum 1 year of urgent care or emergency department experience.
• Experience with minor procedures and reading EKGs/X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care for adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, casts, splints) and interpret EKGs/X-rays.
• Collaborate with Northwell Health centers and use ECW EMR.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Physicians: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care
• 1 or more yrs. of experience in either an urgent care or emergency room setting treating all ages (6 months and older)
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays.
