Job summary

Georgia Mountains Health Services, Inc. in North Georgia operates several offices including Blue Ridge, Chatsworth and Ellijay. We are seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible physicians to join our growing, mission-driven FQHC with a patient-centered approach and strong administrative support.

The role offers a 4-day work week with 9 hours of direct patient care and 4 hours for charting, no nights, no weekends, and major holidays off. NHSC loan repayment, and hospital privileges may be available.

Qualifications

• Georgia Medical License active status is required.
• Medical degree from an accredited Medical School.
• BLS/CPR active status; background check and drug test required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the primary care team working with physicians, behavioral health, and support staff.
• Manage patient volumes of approximately 20 patients per day.
• Work with two clinical support staff to streamline workflow.
• Maintain a 4-day work week with 9 hours direct patient care and 4 hours charting time, in office or remote.
• On-call rotation shared among group, approximately every 5–6 weeks.

Blue Ridge and Chatsworth are accessible to Atlanta and Chattanooga in less than 1.5 hours.

Position:

• Part of the primary care team, working closely with other physicians, behavioral health, clinical and support staff in a team-based approach.


• Patient volumes of approx. 20 patients per day.


• 2 clinical support staff to assist with workflow.

• GMH medical facilities qualify for National Health Service Corps/HRSA loan repayment programs

Required Qualifications:

• Georgia Medical License-active status


• Degree from an accredited Medical School


• BLS/CPR -active status
