Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician for an Urgent Care setting in Jacksonville, FL. You will bring hospital/ER experience to outpatient clinics with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities include treating all ages, developing care plans, prescribing medications, supervising staff, and ensuring accurate EMR documentation. Valid FL license, ACLS, and DEA registrations are required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician | Urgent Care

Job Summary

Bring your hospital and ER experience to a clinic setting. Treat patients of all ages across urgent care and family medicine locations throughout Jacksonville, with a steady Monday to Friday schedule.

What You'll Do

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses
• Counsel and educate patients and families on acute and chronic conditions and preventive health
• Develop diagnostic and treatment plans
• Prescribe and administer medications and therapies, and perform suturing and splinting
• Order lab and imaging studies and provide follow-up care recommendations
• Refer patients to specialists or higher levels of care when appropriate
• Provide and supervise on-site intravenous infusion therapy
• Supervise NPs, PAs, and nursing staff, review quality of care, and sign off on charts as required
• Keep accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
• Deliver exceptional patient care and service

What You Bring

• Valid Florida medical license (MD/DO)
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Hospital and emergency room experience
• Florida DEA (if applicable) and Federal DEA registration
• Current ACLS certification
• Comfort with on-site IV infusion therapy
• Proficiency with EMR systems
• Excellent communication skills and sound clinical judgment
• Current driver's license
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Completion of TB testing and required vaccinations per company policy

Nice to Have

• 5+ years of post-residency experience
• Urgent care and outpatient clinic experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Hours may occasionally vary with patient volume
• Occasional coverage at other clinic locations in the Jacksonville area
