Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ seeks an experienced Endocrinologist to join our Ambulatory Care team in the Cape May region. This role offers a patient-centered, collaborative environment with access to Cooper’s academic and research resources.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology.
  • New Jersey medical license or eligibility to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient care for endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis and pituitary issues.
  • Develop treatment plans and manage chronic endocrine conditions.
  • Collaborate with primary care and specialists to ensure coordinated care.
  • Engage in quality improvement and implement clinical protocols.
  • Educate patients and families on disease management and lifestyle changes.
  • Use Epic EMR for documentation, orders, and communication.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing education.

Short Description

Cooper’s CCA network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Endocrinologist to join our Ambulatory Care team in the Cape region. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment where culture is top tier and innovation drives care delivery.


Key Responsibilities


  • Provide outpatient care for patients with endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary conditions.

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage chronic endocrine conditions.

  • Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, and care teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality care.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical protocols and best practices.

  • Educate patients and families on disease management and lifestyle modifications.

  • Utilize Epic EMR for documentation, ordering, and communication.

  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education.

  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of New Jersey (or eligibility to obtain).

  • DEA license and current BLS/ACLS certification
