Job summary

Skilled Wound Care seeks MDs or DOs to transition from hospital practice to mobile wound care in nursing facilities. You will have autonomy to make clinical decisions while we handle contracts, billing, and overhead.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role with no call, no weekends, and flexibility to prioritize patient care. Starting pay ranges from $220,000 to $250,000 annually, with potential to exceed $300,000+ through additional services and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license.
• Residency completion and board certification are not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on wound care to geriatric patients in nursing facilities; you make clinical decisions and manage outcomes.
• Operate as a mobile wound care physician under a 1099 independent contractor model, with support handled by the company.
