Job summary

EmergeOrtho's Chapel Hill office is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Technician to support the Physical Therapist and Assistant, assist with patient preparation, operate treatment equipment, and help maintain a clean, safe treatment area.

The role requires a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), ability to multitask in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic, and strong communication with patients and staff to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Previous orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation before treatment.
• Administer and monitor physical therapy modalities under supervision.
• Maintain treatment areas, equipment, and sterilization.
• Observe patients and report progress to supervising therapists.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and complete medical records.
• Support scheduling and clerical tasks as needed.
