Job summary

BenchMark Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, seeks a Physical Therapy Technician in Fletcher, NC. This unlicensed role works under direct supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist.

You will prepare equipment, assist patients with prescribed exercises, apply ice/heat as instructed, and handle basic admin tasks like scheduling and intake. Candidates should have a High School Diploma and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Organizational detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficient in the use of computers and learning new software programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
• Assist and/or observe patients perform prescribed therapy exercises and document responses.
• Apply basic prescribed treatments such as ice packs and heat pads as instructed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and therapy areas, and launder linens as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks including patient intake, answering calls, and scheduling appointments.
