Job summary

Ellis & Badenhausen Orthopaedics in the St. Matthews area of Louisville, KY is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapy Technician for our outpatient clinic. Ideal coverage would be Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30 AM–5:30 PM. You will greet patients, help prepare rooms, schedule appointments, maintain records, and support the clinical team. 1-2 years of PT office experience is a plus; proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Physical Therapy office experience is a plus.

• Strong customer service and telephone skills.
• Ability to schedule and coordinate patient appointments.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and answer inquiries.

Job description

Ellis & Badenhausen in the St. Matthews area of Louisville, KY is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapy Technician to serve in our outpatient clinic. Ideally, coverage would be needed on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30 AM–5:30 PM.

Job Duties:

• Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the clinic area.
• Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
• Protects patients' rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Schedule the patient for therapy. If the patient is unable to attend therapy at our clinic (inbound referrals), help find a location that is acceptable to the patient and get the appointment scheduled (outbound referrals).
• Preparing rooms for patient visits
• Cleaning and organizing for patient services
• Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
• Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
• Other duties as assigned.
• 1-2 years of Physical Therapy Office experience a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent Customer Service and Telephone skills
