Ozark Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine / Integrity Rehab Group in Bentonville, AR seeks a Physical Therapy Technician to join our team. This unlicensed associate works under the supervision of a licensed PT or OT, helping prepare treatment areas, observe exercises, document responses, and support patient care in a service-driven clinic.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong customer service, excellent organization, and computer literacy to support scheduling, intake, and daily

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Strong organizational detail and multitasking ability is expected.
• Proficiency with computers and learning new software is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
• Assist and/or observe patients performing prescribed exercises and document responses.
• Perform basic prescribed treatments such as applying ice or heat as instructed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and therapy areas and launder linens.
• Assist with patient intake, answer calls and schedule appointments.

What is a Technician in a Physical Therapy Clinic?

• The Technician is an unlicensed associate who works under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• The technician works in the clinic in accordance with state Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy Practice Acts and company policy and procedures.
• Technicians must have excellent organizational skills and attentive insight to contribute to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
• Assisting and/or observing patients perform prescribed therapy exercises and documenting patient responses to treatment.
• Performing basic prescribed treatments such as applying ice packs and heat pads as instructed.
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, as well as changing and laundering linens.
• Performing administrative tasks, including assisting with patient intake, answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Organizational detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficient in the use of computers and learning new software programs.
