Job summary

Physical Therapy Solutions is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapy Technician to join our outpatient network. You will assist in planning, ongoing assessment, and provide treatment according to the Physical Therapist\'s plan while supporting patient care throughout sessions.

You will help with heat applications, assist patients onto equipment, monitor motion, and perform prescribed exercises. You\'ll also manage equipment sterilization, supply delivery, and maintain a safe, clean work

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning and ongoing assessment and provides treatment according to the treatment plan of patients evaluated by the Physical Therapist
• Assists physical therapists with patient care
• Helps treat patients by applying heat packs, helping patients onto exercise equipment, monitoring motion, and performing prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques
• Provides equipment and supplies by sterilizing and delivering them to the treatment area, positioning equipment for therapist access, and positioning the patient on the equipment
• Keeps a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Ensures operation of physical therapy equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer\'s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs
• Maintains physical therapy supplies inventory by checking stock to determine the inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt of supplies
• Watch the patient’s development during therapy sessions and note how the patient responds
