Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Current Virginia licensure or eligibility.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain on hire.
• Strong orthopedic evaluation and treatment skills with mentorship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Develop measurable goals and evidence-based plans of care.
• Deliver high-quality, one-on-one physical therapy services for orthopedic conditions.
• Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training.
• Monitor progress and modify plans to maximize outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, plans, home programs, prevention and wellness.
• Complete compliant EMR documentation.
• Supervise PTAs and rehab techs per Virginia standards and policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and payers to coordinate care.
• Maintain productivity standards while delivering outcomes and satisfaction.
• Foster a positive, professional, collaborative clinic environment.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain skills.
