Job summary

Select Medical in Paris, KY is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapy Technician to support our outpatient rehabilitation team. You will assist therapists with procedures, help organize services and maintain records, contributing to smooth center operations.

Minimum qualification is a high school diploma; preferred bachelor’s in Exercise Science/Health Sciences, CPR and First Aid certs, and prior outpatient PT experience. Schedule is Weekdays 8-16 hrs/wk with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aid therapists in rehabilitation procedures and help organize and record ancillary services.
• Observe and report abnormal patient conditions or responses to treatment.
• Support center operations, scheduling ancillary services and overseeing a specific program as needed.
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment.

Position: Physical Therapy Technician

Location: Paris, KY

Type of Employment: Parttime

Schedule: Weekdays (8-16 hrs/wk)Compensation: Starting at$9/hour (pending experience)

In this role, you will assist our therapists in carrying out our rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting our center operations.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment
