Job summary

Select Medical in Louisville, KY is seeking a Physical Therapy Technician to support therapists in an outpatient rehab setting. This part-time position covers weekdays with hours varying and compensation of $9/hour based on experience.

You will assist therapists with rehabilitation procedures, organize schedules, maintain records, and help manage center operations. OSHA coordination and equipment prep are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science/Health Sciences preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report abnormal patient conditions or responses to treatment.

In this role, you will assist our therapists in carrying out our rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting our center operations.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science/Health Sciences

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center
