Job summary

The CORE Institute in Arizona is seeking a Clinical Aide to support the Physical Therapist with patient care and implementing the plan of treatment. You will help maintain smooth clinic flow and establish clear communication with patients and families on the rehabilitation floor.

The role requires HSD/GED and at least 6 months of healthcare experience, with preferred outpatient PT exposure and orthopedics experience.

• Requires HSD/GED and 6 months of healthcare experience.
• Preferred: outpatient physical therapy clinic exposure, orthopedics experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with patient care and treatment plan.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families and staff.
• Assist front office staff as needed.
• Respond to patient questions to sustain satisfaction.
• Care for equipment and keep the clinic clean and safe.
• Assist with inventory and stocking of supplies.
• Support the director with special projects.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Assist patients on the rehabilitation floor and daily clinic flow.

Minimum Qualifications

• HSD/GED
• 6 months Experience in a healthcare setting

Preferred

• 6 months or more of experience in an outpatient physical therapy clinic. Experience with orthopedics
• Graduation from a technical program is preferred.

Essential Functions

• Assists the Physical Therapist with patient care and implementing the plan of treatment.
• Establishes and maintains effective communication with patients, family members, and other departments.
• Assists the front office staff as needed.
• Responds to patient questions and inquiries as required to maintain high patient satisfaction levels.
• Responsible for care and maintenance of equipment and keeping a safe and clean environment in the clinic.
• Assists with supply inventorying and stocking.
• Assists the director with special projects.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
• Assists all patients on the rehabilitation floor.
• Assist with seamless and efficient clinic function and daily clinic flow.
