Job summary

Team Rehabilitation Physical Therapy in Georgia is seeking an entry-level patient support assistant to welcome patients, assist therapists, and help with exercises and equipment use. No prior experience required, with on-the-job training and opportunities for scholarships and growth.

You will work closely with licensed therapists, support daily clinic operations, and contribute to a friendly, professional environment focused on improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Interest in physical therapy or healthcare is a plus.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Friendly, professional, and dependable.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for therapy sessions.
• Assist therapists with non-clinical tasks and patient support.
• Guide patients through light exercises and strengthening techniques.
• Educate patients on safe and correct use of equipment.
• Apply therapeutic modalities (heat/ice packs, electrical stimulation) as directed.
• Help patients walk safely between areas of the clinic.
• Keep treatment areas clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Communicate with patients, therapists, and other staff to ensure smooth care.
• Observe and report any patient progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist.
