North Florida Surgeons, P.A. is seeking a motivated, dependable Physical Therapy Technician for our outpatient orthopedic clinic in Fort Walton Beach. This part-time role supports therapists, prepares treatment spaces, and helps deliver an excellent patient experience.

You will assist with exercises, monitor patients, and ensure a clean, organized environment while following HIPAA/privacy rules and clinic policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Healthcare, fitness, sports medicine, or customer service experience preferred.
• Interest in physical therapy or related field is a plus.
• Comfortable working directly with patients and providing hands-on assistance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Able to multitask in a busy outpatient clinic.
• Must follow instructions from licensed clinical staff and recognize when a patient needs additional assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with patient treatment sessions and exercises.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises under supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment before and between appointments.
• Assist with modalities and other treatments as directed and within scope of training.

About the Position

We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused Physical Therapy Technicianto join our outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic. The PT Tech will work closely with our physical therapists and patients to support treatment sessions, maintain an organized clinic environment, and provide an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with patient treatment sessions and therapeutic exercises.

• Prepare treatment areas and equipment before and between patient appointments.

• Clean and sanitize equipment and treatment areas between patients.
• Help with patient flow, including preparing patients for treatment and assisting with clinic turnover.

• Assist with basic administrative or front-office tasks as needed.
• Follow clinic policies, safety procedures, and HIPAA/privacy requirements.
