Job summary

ECU Health Beaufort Hospital in Washington, NC seeks a rehab support teammate to assist therapy staff and participate in interdisciplinary activities. You will help with patient care under supervision, transport patients and equipment, and support routine rehab duties within a 142-bed hospital campus recognized as a Primary Stroke Center.

Requires a high school diploma with up to three years of system experience; general rehab groups may have different requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and coworkers of varied backgrounds.
• Knowledge to provide patient care appropriate to the age of the patient.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 or fewer years of service with the system; and some roles may require specific groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care by performing simple treatment procedures under supervision.
• Transport patients, charts and equipment to and from treatment areas as instructed by the therapist.
• Support rehabilitation team in interdisciplinary activities as appropriate.
