ECU Health Medical Center is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide to support physical therapy teams with patient care, chart and equipment transport, and basic treatment procedures under supervision. The role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and a positive patient experience within an interdisciplinary setting.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate adaptability, patient-centered care, and a willingness to participate in ongoing learning.
Directly responsible to therapists, and assistants they are assigned to work with. Actively seeks to improve knowledge and skills of self and others. Will also be involved in team dynamics and participate in interdisciplinary activities when appropriate. Assists with patient care by performing simple treatment procedures under the direction and direct supervision of a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant. Transports patients, charts and equipment to and from treatment areas as instructed by the therapist. Other rehab support duties as assigned.
