Job summary

NYU Langone Florida seeks a Supervisor of Physical Therapy in West Palm Beach to lead the PT department, plan and coordinate patient care, and supervise staff. You will develop in-service training, manage budgets and equipment, and ensure high-quality documentation and reporting of PT services.

The role requires a PT license in New York State and 3–5 years of experience, including supervisory responsibilities, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an approved Physical Therapy program and licensure.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Physical Therapist with supervisory responsibility.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, coordinates and supervises all activities within the PT department.
• Manages department staffing, budgets, equipment and program needs.
• Develops and implements staff training, in-service programs and clinical education.
• Ensures accurate documentation and reporting of PT patient management.
• Discharges patients when maximum benefit is reached and coordinates discharge planning.
