Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapy Supervisor for the Healthlink at our Southwest location. The role supervises therapy services, coordinates PT/OT/SLP operations, and ensures compliance and quality improvement initiatives.

The position requires licensure in Texas, a Bachelor's in Physical or Occupational Therapy (or related field), and an active BLS certification. A Sign-On bonus of up to $20,000 may apply based on experience.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION requirements for the role.
• MASTER DEGREE in Speech Language Pathology is required or preferred.
• Active Texas State license is required.
• BLS healthcare provider certification required within 60 days of hire.

• Administration, interpretation, and evaluation of tests and measurements.
• Plans and modifies treatment programs.
• Assists Rehab Manager with coordination of PT, OT, and SLP operations, including performing treatments within the Practice Act.
• Maintains CQI activities and ensures department compliance with laws and protocols.

Job Summary

This position is part of the Healthlink at our Southwest location. Up to $20,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience. Summary The Physical Therapy Supervisor is responsible for the administration, interpretation, and evaluation of tests and measurements. Plans and modifies treatment programs. Assists Rehab Manager with coordination of PT, OT, and SLP operations, including performing treatments within the professional’s respective Practice Act, as prescribed by a referring physician. Maintains performance improvement activities and participates in CQI (continuous quality improvement) activities. Maintains efficient and effective department operation while requiring compliance with all state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy or related field. Master Degree in Speech Language Pathology


• PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master Degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy


• PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Prefer 3 years as clinician in a comparable facility. Prefer 2 years supervisory experienced and/or demonstrated proficiency in those skills needed for supervisory functions.


• REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State license


• PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Clinical Instructor Certification as applicable


• REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
