Physical Therapy Manager's Purpose
Responsible for Physical Therapy staff and ensure the department provides a complete therapeutic process that grows minds, bodies, and spirits.

Responsibilities
- Screening & Evaluation for Physical Therapy
- Administer and interpret standardized assessments that identify deficits related to strength, endurance, pain/injury, balance, motor coordination, gait/mobility, nervous system, cardio pulmonary function, developmental milestones, orthotics/prosthetics, and adaptive equipment.
- Establish and update plans of care for Physical Therapy.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants.
- Make progress with patients directly and indirectly through physical therapy treatment with home education programs.
- Reassess and re-evaluate progress that leads to discharge for all goals met.
- Celebrate patient success such that they are an inspiration for others!
- Educate the public on how Physical Therapy helps, such that the community sees help is available and possible.
- Support the whole child with our complimentary multidisciplinary team approach.
- Empower clinicians through management. Assist with Therapist Assistant supervision as needed.
- Maintain a prorated caseload relative to the quantity of staff directly supervising.
- Contribute to other divisions in the company including Human Resources, Client Services, Finance, Quality, Community, Executive.
- Attend meetings and present on managed products, sub-products, statistics, and sub-statistics. Set weekly, monthly, and annual targets to ensure annual goals are met.
Qualifications
- Efficiency without giving up effectiveness with your time.
- Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by CAPTE.
- Initial certification obtained from the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist as required in the state of Kentucky.
- Exceptionally skilled and respected licensed physical therapist who can supervise others.
- Personally aligned with accomplishing organizational goals through a team as your greatest purpose (required).
- Engaging and accurate verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills with adults and children alike.
- Able to confront difficult situations and resolve them.
- Thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
