• Maintain organized inventory of physical therapy supplies, orthotics, and clinical mobility aids.

The Utah State Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapy Intern in Provo, UT to provide direct and indirect operational, clinical, and logistical support to licensed physical therapy staff. Our Physical Therapy Team is dedicated to enhancing the physical mobility, functional independence, and overall quality of life for mentally ill patients in our beautiful inpatient facility. This position can assist students in the completion of their degree or certification with hands‑on community experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in carrying out individualized exercise programs for residents.
• Assist in maintaining records and taking notes.
• Provide compassionate, person-centered assistance during positioning, therapeutic exercise, ambulation, and range-of-motion routines.
• Provide clinical setup and logistical support.

Preferences

• CPR / First Aid Certification.
• Experience with Physical Therapy or Medical experience.
• Ability to work well with multidisciplinary teams.
