Qualifications

• DPT from a regionally accredited university (preferred).
• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time post-licensure clinical experience in physical therapy.
• Experience teaching in post-secondary or college institutions (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with students.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides competency-based education aligned with the South University model of curricula.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates PTA curriculum in collaboration with other PTA faculty on-campus and across campuses.
• Enables achievement of exit competencies and evaluates student performance.
• Participates in governance and program planning at the university level.
• Delivers learning-centered instruction and maintains accurate records and grading on time.
• Contributes to campus events and professional development activities.
• Relates professional experience to learning and keeps current with industry trends.
