Job summary

A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences on the Mesa, Arizona campus, invites applications for an Assistant Professor in the residential Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Ideal candidate will have university teaching experience, a defined scholarly interest in orthopedic PT, and be licensed or eligible for licensure in Arizona. Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, advising, clinical practice in the pro bono Center for Occupational and Physical Therapy, and service.

Qualifications

• Earned terminal doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent)
• Teaching experience in a doctoral physical therapy program
• Defined area of scholarly interest in physical therapy
• Actively involved in the physical therapy profession
• Interest in teaching and mentoring in ABPTRFE accredited residency
• Expertise in orthopedic physical therapy

Responsibilities

• Teach, scholarship, academic and research advising, clinical practice in the pro bono Center for Occupational and Physical Therapy, and service.
• Interact collegially with current faculty and ATSU employees; collaborate across the university.
• Interact well with entry-level DPT students.
