Job summary

A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) on the Mesa campus seeks an Assistant Professor for the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

The ideal candidate will contribute to teaching, scholarship, advising, and clinical activities in the pro-bono Center for Occupational and Physical Therapy. Responsibilities include collaboration with faculty, mentoring entry-level DPT students, and participation in residency programs.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Arizona.
• 5 years of clinical practice.
• Member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Doctoral degree (DPT) and extensive clinical experience.
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and entry-level DPT students.
• Preferred: terminal doctoral degree, teaching experience, defined scholarly interest, involvement in the PT profession, interest in ABPTRFE residency, orthopedic PT expertise.

Responsibilities

• Teaching, scholarship, academic and research advising, clinical practice in the pro bono Center for Occupational and Physical Therapy, and service.
• Interact collegially with current faculty and collaborate with ATSU employees.
• Interact well with entry-level DPT students.
