Job summary

Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX, seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our acute care team. Under supervision of a physical therapist, you will implement established care plans using therapeutic modalities and document care provided, while coordinating with the supervising therapist and care team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PTA program, Texas license or eligibility, BLS, and ability to commute between facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensed by the State of Texas or eligible to sit for exam; BLS Healthcare Provider course per RQI guidelines during orientation.
• Must be able to commute between facilities and have basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Licensed by the State of Texas or must be eligible to sit for exam. BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting. Must be able to commute between facilities in a timely manner.
• Must have a general knowledge of therapy skills and competencies. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal relationship skills. Basic computer skills.
