Position Summary:
The Physical Therapy Asst. demonstrates sound knowledge of the principles and applications of physical therapy procedures and modalities. Works under the supervision of the physical therapist with monthly documentation of supervision. The physical therapy assistant creates a work environment that is goal directed, culturally and age specific.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Education:
Must be a graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the Council of Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association (AMA).
Experience:
One or more years of clinical experience is preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Licensed in Kentucky for Physical Therapy Asst. and a valid Kentucky Driver’s License.

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk and be on feet for long periods of time. Must be able to tolerate PPE for long periods of time.
