Our Physical Therapy Assistants are given the opportunity for flexible self-scheduling while working in an assigned region of 3 facilities.
We currently have Full-Time Day shift positions available in all regions. Apply to this position to be considered for Full-Time Float Team opportunities throughout Wellstar! Our Float Team is required to float to specific regions listed below:
Region 1 North: Kennestone, Windy Hill, and North Fulton Hospitals
Our Wellstar Enterprise Support Team (W.E.S.T.) is a float team of nursing professionals supporting various hospitals within the organization. We seek experienced, high-performance, professional nurses supported by an engaged leadership team. Leaders support weekly rounding and foster open, collaborative communication. We promote growth and educational opportunities, and recognize outstanding patient care, which often leads to facility awards and recognition at local and state levels.

Minimum Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
Licensure/Certification: Current licensure as a physical therapy assistant in Georgia. Must have a current BLS certification from the American Heart Association on first day. Valid Georgia Driver’s license and private vehicle insurance are required.
Experience: At least 2 years of clinical experience in an Acute Care facility.
