Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role at the Fairburn SNF. You will deliver PT treatments under a PT, guide patients through exercises, and monitor progress while documenting outcomes.

A $8,000 sign-on bonus is available and compensation can reach up to $100,000 annually based on experience, schedule, and location. The role emphasizes collaboration within an interdisciplinary team, ongoing professional development, and a supportive environment

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Rehabilitation or post-acute care experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.
• Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Support rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment interventions.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
