Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Kentucky. The role includes delivering PT treatments under a supervising PT, assisting with exercises, and promoting mobility for patients across post-acute care settings.

We offer a compensation package up to $100,000 annually based on experience, plus a sign-on bonus up to $8,000, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth in a collaborative, clinical-excellence focused environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Rehabilitation or post-acute care experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.
• Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Support rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment interventions.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
