Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Blue Ridge SNF on a PRN schedule. You will deliver physical therapy treatments, assist with therapeutic exercises, and support mobility goals under supervision.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care and documentation accuracy. Qualified applicants hold an Associate degree, a current PTA license in the state, and a willingness to work in post-acute care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Rehabilitation or post-acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.
• Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Support rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment interventions.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
