Highlands Health and Rehab is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team in Tennessee. You will work under a Physical Therapist, helping residents participate in daily activities and achieve treatment goals.

A $3000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time employment, with flexible scheduling or part-time options. This full-time/part-time role involves screenings, treatment planning, and hands-on therapy across strength, mobility, balance, and gait

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.

Aufgaben

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings of residents at regular intervals to determine need for intervention.
• Assist in identifying goals and treatment plans with the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct individual and group treatment addressing strength, mobility, balance, gait, and ROM.
• Assist in selecting techniques/media and adapt as indicated by patient performance.
• Monitor resident responses and modify plans with the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain resident schedules with the care team and adhere to treatment regimens.
• Train residents and staff in use of equipment; participate in education programs.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealthEMR systems.
