Job Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in evaluating patient abilities and planning treatment goals
• Document patient progress and report to Physical Therapists
• Deliver culturally sensitive patient care tailored to age-specific needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care
• Maintain therapy areas, equipment, and supplies, adhering to safety and quality standards
• Work during inclement weather and staffing emergencies as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• At least one year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting (preferred)
• Basic Life Support/CPR certification

Physical Demands

• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Exposure to bodily fluids possible
• Visual and auditory acuity for patient assessment
• Manual dexterity for operating equipment and computers
