We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our practice in Tucker, GA. Must be willing to learn and assist with providing physical therapy for a variety of conditions, including vestibular therapy. We will provide training if needed. Job Responsibilities:

1. Help the PT in all aspects of patient care
2. Assist with administering skilled physical therapy treatment under the guidance of the PT, in accordance with physician orders, referrals, prescriptions, current standards of care, and by assessing and interpreting evaluations, records, and test results
3. Encourage continuation of therapeutic plans by designing home exercise regimens, recommending assistive equipment, and follow-up programs to improve the patient's overall health
4. Ensure smooth and timely patient flow according to scheduled appointment times
5. Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises and track progress
6. Provide education to patients on techniques for continuing care
7. Measure and track the effectiveness of treatment plans/interventions and keep the Physical Therapist updated on patient progress
8. Maintain confidentiality of patient personal health information in accordance with HIPAA

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current PTA license in GA with all required documentation

Salary:

• $55k-$65k per year, depending on experience

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, flexible schedule, 40 hours per week
