Position: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Type: Per Diem (PRN)
Location: Arbor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Services

We are a family-owned and operated therapy company dedicated to quality patient care and customer service. We are seeking a committed and patient-focused Physical Therapist Assistant to provide rehabilitation services at our location. The PTA is responsible for delivering physical therapy treatments to facilitate increased independence and functioning under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Implementing the patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the primary Physical Therapist
  • Collaborating with the rehabilitation team to implement programs suited to each patient's needs and capabilities
  • Assisting the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures
  • Instructing patients, families, and caregivers in skills and techniques of the physical therapy program under supervision
Requirements:
  • Valid license to practice physical therapy
  • Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred
Required Skills and Attributes:
  • Excellent observation, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude
