Job summary

Vibra Healthcare’s Rehabilitation and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills in Rapid City, SD is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide PT services, assist in plan development, and ensure accurate documentation to support patient care.

The ideal candidate holds an active PTA license in South Dakota and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (state licensure) required.
• Current BLS certification from Vibra-approved vendor required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in PT services, including treatment planning and implementation.
• Documentation and communication per physician orders.
• Work under supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Rehab and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team!

At the Rehabilitation and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills, we are dedicated to delivering advanced treatments and compassionate care to help our patients recover and regain their independence.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting the Physical Therapist in the provision of Physical Therapy services to patients, including treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under a Physical Therapist and per physician orders.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Previous Hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
