Qualifications

Overview

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) PRN at Milwaukee Rehabilitation Hospital at Greenfield

Position Summary

The Physical Therapy Assistant treats referred patients, ages 18 and older, with rehabilitation diagnoses or conditions requiring rehabilitation. Assists in patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and potential for rehabilitation. Administer a treatment program with goals determined by the patient\'s capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician and Physical Therapist. Educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods.

Schedule

Monday–Friday (30-40 hours per week), rotating weekends and yearly holiday rotation

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
