Qualifications

• Entry level/new graduates acceptable; satisfactory completion of clinical work.
• Two years of PTA experience preferred.
• One year of EMR experience preferred.
• Licensed as PTA in state of practice.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Mandatory reporter training for IL & IA states.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program with anassociate’sdegree; a certificate from an accredited PTA program is acceptable where recognized to meet state licensure educational requirementsrequired.
• Bachelor’sdegree is preferred.

Experience:

• Entry level/new graduates are acceptable; satisfactory completion of clinical work required by the program attended;previouswork/clinical experienceindicatingsuccessful ability to assume responsibilities within a team contextrequired.
• Two (2) years’ experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• One (1) year prior experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant in state(s) of Practicerequired.
• Basic LifeSupport (BCLS) through the American Heart Associationrequired.
• IL & IA Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in State(s) where providing care required.
