Sigma Health Rehab is actively seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities of an exceptional Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA):

• Follow the plan of care set out by the supervising physical therapist
• Measure & record resident’s motor function, strength, and muscle performance
• Observe and document resident performance
• Treat residents with techniques like stretching and massage, assist residents with specific exercises
• Maintain resident confidence by keeping information confidential
• Comply with legal and professional requirements
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contribute to team effort

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited PTA Program
• Current New York State Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License
