Job summary

Preferred Therapy Solutions in Norwalk, CT is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our sub-acute and skilled nursing rehab team. You will provide compassionate therapy services and collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff to support residents' independence.

The qualified candidate will hold a PTA license or be license eligible in CT, demonstrate strong computer skills, maintain timely documentation, and adapt to flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Physical Therapy Assistant license or be eligible to practice in CT.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience documenting and managing patient records is preferred.
• Ability to work in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Must be able to work part-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility.
• Collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff in a team environment.
• Demonstrate timely and accurate documentation of patient progress.
• Maintain attention to detail and professional conduct.

The Qualified Candidate Will:

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting
• Be flexible with hours.
