Overview

The Physical Therapist Assistant assists the Physical Therapist in providing physical therapy. Responsibilities include performing delegated procedures, modifying treatments within the scope of the treatment plan, documenting patient progress, ensuring safety, and addressing age-specific needs. The role involves treating patients and families with respect and dignity, assessing and managing pain, and reporting safety issues. The incumbent will also provide technical assistance to the Physical Therapy aide and coordinate workload as directed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current license from the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
