Job description

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a per diem opportunity performing home visits with adult and geriatric patients in territories throughout Denver, CO.

As a home care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Requirements for each Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):

  • Current licensure or certification in the state of Colorado
  • Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, evidenced by school transcript or diploma, or
  • Two years of appropriate experience as a PTA and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service (initial qualification before December 31, 1977)
  • At least one year of work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
  • Additional activities as requested

Base Pay, depending on qualifications and subject to negotiation: $40.00 - $45.00 per visit point
