Job description

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a part-time opportunity providing home health visits. This office services adult and geriatric patients on a per-visit basis throughout Montgomery County.

As a home care Physical Therapist Assistant, you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Requirements for each Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):

1. Current licensure or certification in the state of MD
2. Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, evidenced by transcript or diploma, or
3. Two years of appropriate experience as a PTA and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service if initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
4. At least one year of work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
5. Other activities as requested
