Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team. You will work under Physical Therapists to help patients regain mobility and independence in daily living.

We value compassionate, in-home care and provide professional growth opportunities with a collaborative team and ongoing education. 1 year clinical and home health experience is preferred; active PTA license in the state is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in the state of employment.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of home health experience is preferred.

• Treat patients under the direction of Physical Therapists to improve mobility and daily living skills.
• Assist with physical modalities and therapies to improve function.
• Support patient independence and self-care in home settings.

Responsibilities

Our Physical Therapy Assistants work under the direction of our Physical Therapists and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living.

Qualifications

• Be currently licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA in the state of employment.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of home health experience is preferred.
