Job summary

Empath Health is seeking a compassionate PRN PTA to join our Home Health team serving South Pinellas County, including St. Petersburg, Gulfport, South Pasadena, Tierra Verde, Seminole, and surrounding areas.

Provide in-home physical therapy under supervision of a Physical Therapist, assist with equipment needs, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver full life care.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license.
• Minimum 1 year experience as PTA.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating equipment needs to increase functional level.
• Educate patient and family on self-care and techniques to maintain functioning.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
