Job summary

Enhabit, Inc. seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join its Home Health & Hospice team. You will support Physical Therapists in delivering in-home care aimed at improving mobility, independence and quality of life for patients in Amarillo, TX.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient interaction, documentation, and adherence to established care plans. Licensure in the state is required; prior home health experience is preferred and opportunities for continuing education are

• Active PTA license in the employing state.
• Prefer 1 year of clinical experience.
• Prefer 1 year of home health experience.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, provide treatment to patients to improve mobility and function.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and self-care as part of the plan of care.

Responsibilities

Our Physical Therapy Assistants work under the direction of our Physical Therapists and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living.

Qualifications

• Be currently licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA in the state of employment.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of home health experience is preferred.
