Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver patient care under supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will help improve mobility and daily living activities in home settings, driving to patient residences with dependable transportation and maintaining patient safety.

Candidates must hold an active PTA license in the state, possess a valid driver's license, automobile liability insurance, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently licensed PTA in the state of employment.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must have dependable transportation, kept in good working conditions.
• Must be able to drive automobile in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, treat patients with physical impairments to improve mobility and independence in daily living.
• Work in home settings, delivering PTA services and promoting patient safety and progress.

Responsibilities

Our Physical Therapist Assistants work under the direction of our Physical Therapists and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living.
