Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients in the home health setting across Texas. You will work under a Physical Therapist to help improve mobility and daily living skills for individuals with physical impairments.

The role requires an active PTA license in Texas, a valid driver's license, and dependable transportation. You will travel to patient homes, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to a collaborative care team focused

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Texas PTA license and be in good standing.
• Valid Texas driver's license is required.
• Dependable transportation with reliable vehicle insurance.
• Ability to drive in all weather conditions to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in evaluating and treating patients with mobility impairments.
• Help patients improve mobility, self-care, and daily living skills through PT modalities.
• Document patient progress and coordinate care under PT supervision.

Responsibilities

Our Physical Therapist Assistants work under the direction of our Physical Therapists and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living.

Qualifications

1. Must be a currently licensed PTA in the state of employment

2. Must possess a valid state driver's license

3. Must possess automobile liability insurance

4. Must have dependable transportation, kept in good working conditions

5. Must be able to drive automobile in all types of weather conditions.
