Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to work under our Physical Therapists and help patients improve mobility and daily living skills. The role emphasizes compassionate care and collaboration with a clinical team.

The PTA will use modalities to support patient progress, promote independence, and contribute to high-quality home health services across our Texas service area.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently licensed PTA in the state of employment.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must have dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive automobile in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of Physical Therapists to treat patients with physical impairments.
• Use physical modalities to help improve mobility and function.
• Assist patients with independent self-care and daily living skills.

Responsibilities

Our Physical Therapist Assistants work under the direction of our Physical Therapists and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living.
